Robert Duncan-Enzmann was a physicist, geologist, astronomer, inventor, historian, navigator, linguist, and aerospace pioneer whose career spanned the formative years of the American space effort. His work in rocketry, defense systems, geology, planetary science, and space mission planning was accompanied by a lifelong interest in history, ancient languages, mythology, religion, and the development of human civilization. He believed that understanding the future required understanding the past, and that the same natural laws govern both.

Joanna Enzmann is a mathematician and computer programmer whose career began at the dawn of modern computing. Entering M.I.T. at age sixteen and later earning advanced degrees in mathematics, she worked with some of the earliest computer systems and contributed to projects in both science and national defense. Her analytical approach and mathematical insight complemented Robert’s broad scientific investigations, creating a partnership that examined questions across many disciplines.

Over decades, the Enzmanns assembled an extraordinary archive of manuscripts, research papers, books, articles, correspondence, artwork, and scientific studies.
